The Studio is the Appleton Museum of Art’s energetic group of young professionals, artists, and art enthusiasts who have a passion for art, culture, and design. The Appleton offers The Studio members unique and interactive programming, specifically designed for ages 21-39.

Cell Phone Photo Contest & Exhibition hosted by The Studio
Participate in any or all of The Studio's one-week cell phone photo challenges!
Send us your photos within each category's designated seven-day date range. All photos will be uploaded to Facebook where during that week, Facebook users can vote for their favorites. Photos submitted will be printed and shown in a special exhibition in the museum's education wing on November 20, where a juror will award prizes. Photos with the most "likes" on facebook will receive a special award.
Rules: All photos must be taken with a cell phone, be tasteful in content and submitted during each category's date range. No more than two photos per category per person will be accepted. Museum staff reserves the right to omit any photos that are deemed by the majority to be offensive or inappropriate. The museum reserves the right to use any photos submitted to the contest for future promotion.
How to Participate:

Week One: Around Town, October 13-19
Show us your favorite sights in and around Marion County. From city to country, to well-loved landmarks or new discoveries, all are welcome!
Week Two: Patterns & Shapes, October 20-26
Whether natural or manmade, snap a photo of interesting patterns and shapes. Use your creative eye to look closely - patterns and shapes can be found just about anywhere!
Week Three: Black & White, October 27-November 2
See the world through a different "filter" and send us your best black and white photo - all subjects are welcome!
Week Four: Artistic Selfie & Portrait, November 3-9
Strike a pose and send us your best artistic selfie or portrait! Don't be afraid to show your creativity and what makes you unique!
