About the Event
Our dress-to-impress fashion show event is on Saturday, April 21, 5-8 p.m. with special VIP guest Fabio Costa, designer and "Project Runway" star. This glamorous evening begins with a pre-party of hors d’oeuvres and wine after which guests will be invited into the fashion show area. We have invited eight designers who will each show three to four garments from their collections. In addition, each designer will showcase an Inspired Fashion ensemble, inspired by a work of art from our permanent collection. After the fashion show, guests will be invited to the museum galleries for an up-close look at models wearing the Inspired Fashions next to the inspirational works of art. Guests will also have time to visit the exhibition Folk Couture: Fashion and Folk Art, which served as the inspiration for the fashion show.
