The income from these sources only covers five percent of the annual expenditures of the Appleton Museum of Art.

The Appleton Museum of Art is our community's museum. The Appleton also provides the community with opportunities to improve both mental and physical health, especially for the elderly, and helps to reduce anxiety for all. In addition, a community arts experience helps us identify as a community and improve our capacity for collective action. Social bonds are created among people who share arts experiences through reflection, expression of common values and community identity.
