Click on the QuickTime player link.

Select your operating system in the “Download the free player” section.

Click the “Download QuickTime” button.

QuickTime player will automatically download and will start the installation process when it is done downloading.

A File Download window will open.  Click “Open.”

A Security Warning window will appear.  Select “Yes.”

When you get to the registration window, you can fill in Name and Business but you don’t have to.  Unless you have purchased the QuickTime upgrade, DON’T enter anything in the registration number field.  Click next

Make sure that there is NO check in the “Use HTTP Proxy” and click “continue”.

The Software will then start downloading to your computer.

In the QuickTime settings window click next

Select your connection speed and click next.

Click the MIME settings.

            In the MIME Settings box click an X in all the boxes and then click OK.

Click Next

In the “File Type” associations select all three types.

Click finish.

Click close.

Then go to the Appleton website and click on a virtual tour.

If the open with file window opens locate “QuickTime Player Application and make sure that “always use this program to open this file” is selected.

Click OK

Click Later

The Virtual Tour will open up.  Use your mouse to navigate the scene by holding down your mouse button and moving the cursor over the scene.  You can get detail information about the art by clicking on it.
