Admission to the museum is free from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Explore the permanent collection\, special exhibitions\, and enjoy family-friendly artmaking activities in the Artspace. \nAt 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. in the auditorium\, see a screening of “The Yearling” (TV-G\, 1946\, 2h 8m). This coming-of-age Best Picture nominee is based on Marjorie Kinnan Rawlings’ Pulitzer Prize-winning novel about impoverished backwoods farmers in 1878 Florida\, where the young son takes it upon himself to care for an orphaned fawn\, but the animal’s wild nature forces the boy to make a most difficult decision. Free as part of Free First Saturday; no reservations needed to attend. Auditorium doors open at 10:30 a.m.  \nThe Donut Express and Travelin’ Tom’s Coffee Truck will be on-site throughout the day\, along with CAMPUS USA Credit Union and LifeSouth Community Blood Centers. \n\n \n\n\n\n\n\nFree First Saturdays are supported in part by CAMPUS USA Credit Union.
