Film Screening: Neptune Frost

This science fiction punk musical, produced by Lin-Manuel Miranda, is set in the African country of Burundi, where an intersex runaway and a miner fall in love and form an anti-colonialist computer hacker collective. They find solidarity through a dynamic Afrofuturist vision exploring the states of past and present, male and female, and colonized and free. (NR, 1h 45m)
