The Appleton houses over 12,000 works on paper, making it one of the largest such collections in Florida and among academic art museums nationwide. This category includes books, collages, drawings, etchings, posters, prints, watercolors and more. Featured below is a recently conserved etching by German-Jewish artist Ernst Oppler (1867–1929).
Join others who have donated $500 to conserve a print — an amount that covers roundtrip shipping and professional conservation treatments, including cleaning and stabilization. Your gift will be acknowledged in the work’s permanent record, and when displayed, the label will include a credit line recognizing you as the conservation donor.
