Ages: 8-12

April 18, 2026- May 9, 2026

Saturdays, 10:30 a.m.-noon

Member Cost: $110

Non-Member Cost: $140

Art Explorations are multiweek classes designed for ages 8–12. In this four-week drawing and painting class, join us for a colorful adventure learning to sketch, paint and create like a true artist! Learn about perspective, shading and realism while using a variety of materials.

Ages: 2-5

Tuesday, 10:30-11:30 a.m.

Member Cost: Free

Non-Member Cost: Free for children

This engaging, multisensory program introduces children ages 2–5 to the Appleton. Each Museum & Me session begins with a storybook reading, followed by a short gallery visit to explore a featured artwork or artist. Afterward, children will head to the Artspace to create their own art inspired by what they have seen.

The Appleton’s Artspace is a vibrant, hands-on makerspace designed for children and adults to explore, create and connect through art. With colorful activity stations inspired by the museum’s collection and the broader art world, visitors of all ages can enjoy playful, skill-building experiences in a fun and welcoming environment.
