Visit the Appleton on June 7 for Free First Saturday! Admission to the museum is free from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Explore the permanent collection, special exhibitions, and enjoy family-friendly artmaking activities in the Artspace.

Join us in the auditorium at 2 p.m. for a presentation by historian and author Dr. Wayne Wood. “Frank Lloyd Wright and His Influence on Florida Architecture” will give the audience an in-depth understanding of Frank Lloyd Wright’s vast influence on Florida’s architectural history. This presentation is free as part of Free First Saturday; no reservation needed to attend.

The Dancing Empanada food truck will be onsite throughout the day, along with LifeSouth Community Blood Centers, CAMPUS USA Credit Union and Ocala Studio and Gallery Tours.

Saturday hours are 10 a.m.-5 p.m.
