In partnership with the Marion County Tax Collector’s Office, this annual exhibition features license plate tag art submitted by Marion County fifth-grade students for the “Marion County Tax Collector Kids Tag Art” program.
The “Marion County Tax Collector Kids Tag Art” program is hosted by the Marion County Tax Collector’s office and sponsored by Jenkins Auto, inspiring 5th grade art students to design their own specialty plate while learning about the practical application of license plate art and how Florida’s 100+ specialty license plates support worthy causes. The program culminates in an exhibition at the Appleton Museum of Art.
Students and their families are invited for an Open House on Saturday, January 23, 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. During this time, the museum will be free for the student artists and their families to visit the museum and see their artwork on display.
