“Approaches” is a special exhibition series that helps visitors build a deeper understanding of artistic styles, concepts and media. Drawn from the permanent collection, with additional work by Heather Dawn Batchelor, this installation focuses on Abstract Expressionism, a post-World War II movement known for energetic gestures, bold color and expression.
Works are paired with prompts inspired by Transformative Learning Theory, inviting visitors to slow down, reflect and consider new perspectives. There are no right or wrong answers — only opportunities for careful looking and discovery.
