Jeffrey Kronsnoble:Master of Allusion, A Life of Art

October 3, 2026 - March 21, 2027

The exhibition features more than 100 works spanning over six decades of Jeffrey Kronsnoble’s artistic career. Among them is a series he returned to repeatedly called “boxes,” referring to collaged images constructed and mounted in shadow boxes. The assemblages are painted, often using a dry-brush oil technique, in hyper-realistic detail. Broken, layered and obscured imagery creates fragmented, mysterious compositions that incorporate recognizable images from news and popular media, family photographs and historical artworks. (more…)
